Summary

Chat Health does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data outside your browser.

Data Stored

Chat Health stores the following data locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local:

• Token count estimates for the current conversation session
• Daily and lifetime aggregate token count totals
• Estimated API-equivalent cost figures (calculated locally)
• Current model name (when detectable from the page DOM)

None of this data includes the content of your conversations. Only numeric token counts and cost estimates are stored.

Data Transmission

No data is ever sent to any external server. The extension makes no network requests during normal operation. There is no remote analytics, telemetry, logging, or tracking of any kind.

Local Storage Only

All stored data lives in chrome.storage.local on your device. Uninstalling the extension removes all stored data. You can reset session data at any time using the "Reset chat" button in the widget.

Permissions Used

• storage — to persist session, daily, and lifetime token count statistics locally.
• Host permissions for chat.openai.com and chatgpt.com — to inject the widget and read visible conversation text for token counting.

The extension does not request identity, tabs, browsing history, clipboard, camera, microphone, location, or any other permissions.

Third Parties

The extension has no third-party integrations, SDKs, advertising networks, or analytics services.

Children

The extension does not knowingly collect data from children. It has no user accounts and collects no personal information.
